Louis Gossett Jr. is known for ground-breaking roles in film, television and on the Broadway stage. He is perhaps best known for his Emmy Award winning role as “Fiddler” in ABC’s epic ROOTS miniseries in 1977;  won the Academy Award for his role as “Gunnery Sergeant Emil Foley” in the 1982 film AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN; won the Saturn Award for his role as “Drac pilot Jerry Shigan” in Wolfgang Petersen’s cult-favorite ENEMY MINE;  and was “Chappy Sinclair” in the IRON EAGLE film series.   His career spans six decades during the most turbulent, innovative and rapidly evolving times in our country in the last 100 years.  Louis brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, wisdom and inspiration to share with aspiring filmmakers, actors, producers, directors and behind-the-scene technicians.
